Mireille – Modern travertine wall light, Ø8cm, cylindrical 1-point sconce

Looking for a discreet yet distinctive accent that adds depth and cozy light to your interior? Mireille combines natural travertine, a warm metal finish and a refined wood accent to emphasize the character of your space – without overpowering it. It’s a compact wall sconce that directs light exactly where you need it, setting the mood and organizing zones within the room.

The minimalist form and carefully chosen materials make it easy to fit into a living room, bedroom or hallway. And when you want to highlight a picture, niche or reading corner – precise angle adjustment makes a difference.

Why this lamp?

Natural travertine – brings warmth and a unique stone pattern to the interior, which pairs beautifully with modern arrangements.
Directional, 1‑point light – you emphasize what matters: a picture, wall texture, or a seating area.
Compact diameter Ø8 cm – the slim, cylindrical shape doesn’t dominate the space and looks elegant even on narrow walls.
Angle adjustment – easily set the light beam for comfortable reading, evening relaxation or a gentle accent.
Refined finishes – metal in a Gold / Brass shade and wooden details complete the beige travertine with a coherent, timeless palette.

Design and materials

Mireille is the essence of modern minimalism: a cylindrical body with Ø8 cm and a proportional height of 23 cm creates a sense of lightness and precision. The front of the lamp remains clean, and the clash of natural textures creates a tasteful contrast:

Travertine (beige) – the subtly variegated stone pattern makes each lamp visually unique.
Metal Gold / Brass – a subtle sheen warms the composition and adds elegance without drawing attention away from the stone.
Wood – a walnut-toned accent available (Dark walnut or Light walnut) enhances the natural character of the whole.

As a result, you get a detail that looks just as good on a smooth painted wall as it does against textured plasters or wooden claddings. This is lighting that «calms» the design and adds quality with one precise point.

Light and comfort

This is a 1‑point sconce with directional light. Thanks to the adjustable angle, you can easily switch it from a mood-making accent to practical illumination of a specific area. Beige travertine together with the warm character of the Gold / Brass finish foster a cozy atmosphere – the light does not «flood» the room, it helps build a layered ambiance.

Reading in the bedroom – aim the beam at the book so as not to dazzle the person next to you.
Living room – direct light onto a picture, bookshelf or wall texture to bring out details.
Hallway – guide the eye rhythmically and emphasize circulation without excessive brightness.

Where it fits

Bedroom – on both sides of the bed as an aesthetic alternative to bedside lamps; frees up the bedside table surface.
Living room – an accent by a photo gallery, above a sideboard or in a reading nook.
Hallway and entrance – several units create an elegant, coherent line of light.
Study – targeted illumination of the wall behind the desk improves work comfort and organizes the space.
Kitchen/dining – as discreet background light along tall cabinets or in a cupboard area.

Its scale and proportions make installation easy in both smaller and larger rooms – without the risk of the fitting dominating the interior.

Variants

Dark walnut – a stronger, elegant wood accent; great for darker walls, veneers and a modern classic style.
Light walnut – a lighter, natural tone; harmoniously pairs with light walls and a Scandinavian palette.
Variant size: Diameter 8cm x Height 23cm – a universal format that’s easy to arrange in pairs or rows.

Selection tips

By the bed: mount so the light falls on the book, not toward the head – usually slightly above the headboard line.
In the hallway: keep an even rhythm – several identical sconces guide the eye and organize the space.
In the gallery area: set the angle to bring out texture and colors of artwork without shining directly into viewers’ eyes.
Layering: combine Mireille with general lighting – the sconce builds mood and accents, while the ceiling provides base brightness.

Choose and order

Select the Dark walnut or Light walnut variant and place Mireille where lighting matters. Choose your color, add to cart and see how natural travertine immediately warms your interior.
