The Pistoia alabaster flush ceiling light resembles a small lantern, and its height of 40 cm allows the stone’s pattern to be clearly displayed. The white alabaster and antique copper finish give it a distinctly classic character.

Why choose this light

Natural alabaster has a different pattern of streaks and veining in every piece – the decoration comes from the material itself.

At 40 cm high, it offers a distinctly three-dimensional form rather than a flat fitting sitting close to the ceiling.

Ceiling mounting without a long drop lets you introduce a lantern silhouette into your interior; the model runs on 230V.

Design and materials

The elongated shade has rounded edges and subtly defined vertical sections. It narrows at both ends, leaving the largest area of stone in the middle. The copper ceiling rose and lower finial feature raised botanical ornamentation, whose fine pattern contrasts with the broad alabaster surfaces. A small metal ball completes the composition at the bottom – a detail reminiscent of traditional light fittings.

Light and comfort

The translucent alabaster diffuses the light, and its streaks and veining become more visible when the light is switched on. Lighter areas sit alongside darker ones, so the shade does not look like a uniformly glowing white surface. However, the white stone does not determine the colour temperature: if you want warm light for relaxing in the evening, confirm the light colour before buying. When planning installation, also leave enough space beneath the fitting so that its lower part does not obstruct opening doors or tall cupboard doors.

Where it works

Above a dining table – alabaster and antique copper complement a wooden tabletop, while the vertical silhouette defines the centre of the arrangement.

In a hallway with wall panelling or decorative plasterwork – the botanical ornamentation echoes classic interior details; with a fitting height of 40 cm, sufficient clearance must be maintained beneath it.

In a bedroom with wooden furniture and linen curtains – the light-coloured stone complements natural fabrics, while the metal finials introduce finer decorative detail.

Variants

Colour: Antique Copper and White. This variant makes it easier to coordinate the light with materials already present in your interior.

Technical specifications

Model

Pistoia

Light type

Flush ceiling light

Material

Copper, Alabaster

Colour

Antique Copper and White

Style

Classic, Vintage

Size

Shade diameter: 16 cm, Overall height: 40 cm

Light source

Replaceable light source

Cap type

E14

Mounting

Ceiling-mounted

Voltage

230V

Intended use

Indoor use

FAQ

Does the stated 40 cm refer to the shade diameter?

No. 40 cm is the height of the fitting.

How is Pistoia installed, and what power supply does it require?

The model is designed for indoor ceiling mounting and a 230V power supply.

What are the shade and metal components made from?

The shade is made from alabaster, and the metal components are made from copper.
