Looking for lighting that brings a soft, natural glow into your interior while organizing the space with a modern line? Metropolia combines the warmth of stone with the precision of glass – giving you a lamp that not only illuminates but builds mood and adds class to the room.

This is a solution for those who want eye-friendly light, noble materials and a form that’s easy to fit above a table, island or seating area.

Metropolia is an elegant, cylindrical composition of premium materials. At the center there is a hand-formed alabaster column – a natural stone whose semi-translucent veining is visible in the photos. Each piece has a unique pattern, which gives the lamp a jewelry-like character and makes it a detail with a truly “living” texture.

The alabaster is surrounded by an outer glass shade – smooth, with a clear, contemporary line. You can choose the “Transparent and white” version, which emphasizes the purity of the form and brightens the space, or the “Smoked gray and white” version, which gives the light a more atmospheric, intimate expression. The lamp body is finished in gray, and the whole hangs from a minimalist black cord. Proportions are refined: the Ø20 cm x H33 cm version appears slimmer and more vertical, while the Ø25 cm x H20 cm variant is wider and more horizontal. These are two different answers to questions of rhythm and scale in the interior.

The secret of comfort lies in the alabaster – the stone gently “softens” the light of an LED or Edison bulb, providing an even, calm distribution. The result is an atmosphere conducive to conversation and relaxation, without harsh glares and point contrasts. The outer glass acts like an elegant frame: it tidies the form, brings out the luminous depth of the alabaster and makes the lamp look light both alone and in a composition of several pieces.

Choose size and character of light as well as the visual effect thanks to the glass finishes:

– Ø 20 cm x Height 33 cm – Transparent and white

– Slim, modern line. Good where you want to emphasize height and lightness of the composition (e.g., above a narrower table, with a higher ceiling).

– Ø 20 cm x Height 33 cm – Smoked gray and white

– The same elegant profile, but with a more atmospheric, slightly subdued light. Ideal for evening relaxation zones.

– Ø 25 cm x Height 20 cm – Transparent and white

– A more widely spread form – a great choice above a wider table or island when you want even countertop illumination and a clean, bright effect.

– Ø 25 cm x Height 20 cm – Smoked gray and white

– More “mood”, less intense contrast. Works well in the living room and dining room when you want to create a soft, evening atmosphere.

Note: the pattern and translucency of alabaster naturally vary – this is an advantage of the material and a guarantee of the uniqueness of each piece.

Choose the Metropolia variant that fits your table and interior style – and see how one well-designed point of light changes the atmosphere of the whole space.
